Artwork can be supplied in the following formats

At ATC Printing we work on Macintosh computers, if you are working on a PC you will need to supply your artwork as a Press-Quality PDF file or in Illustrator CS2 with all fonts converted to outlines.

Macintosh programs that we can accept are:

  • Quark Express 6.5 (include fonts and images)
  • Indesign CS2 (include fonts and images)
  • Illustrator CS2 (Embed images and outline fonts)
  • Acrobat 7 (Press Quality with CMYK images)

Any other format may incur additional artwork fees for resetting of the job.

Pre-Press Guidelines - How to send your files to ATC Printing.

  • All files must be CMYK and / or spot colour. We can NOT use RGB files although conversion to CMYK can be done if necessary.
  • For Illustrator files please convert all your fonts to outlines in other applications please include all fonts and image links.
  • Image files should be a minimum of 300dpi when placed into artwork at 100%.
  • Where your image bleeds off the edge of the page allow 3mm bleed in each direction.
  • Please provide a colour print out if available or separated black and white lased prints.
  • Provide your logos as a vector file (the original drawing file made up of points and strokes as opposed to a bitmap file made up of pixels).
